Süleyman SÜRAL
Süleyman Süral was born in 1943 and after attending primary school in Serik/Çakış primary school, he went to Isparta Şarkikaraağaç for secondary school. Since his family was in Serik, he successfully completed his secondary school education with a familiar family. Later, she enrolled in Antalya High School, again separated from her family, graduated from high school with honours and enrolled in Ankara Law Faculty and graduated from university in 1965.
In 1968 he married Gülsün Süral, a French teacher, and in 1969 he opened his office in Serik and started to work as a lawyer. He has three children, Mehmet Hakan, Ayşe Deniz and Murat.
In 1985, when he started the construction of Süral Hotel, he ended his career as a lawyer. Having achieved great success as a businessman, after tourism, he also focused on industry and established factories. Since he was also very interested in agriculture, he established orchards and greenhouses and achieved great success in all family businesses.
Since he himself studied under very difficult conditions, he loved and protected the students very much. After building a primary school in his village in the name of his father and a mosque in the name of his mother, he and his wife built a high school in his name and donated it to Akdeniz University.
Süleyman Süral was a hard-working, foresighted and courageous businessman, but he was also extremely modest and sincere. He was humble and helpful. While he was battling lung cancer in recent years, he made great efforts to see the opening of the school.
He was buried in the Çakış cemetery, which was previously determined by him, on 21.07.2017 by thousands of his loved ones. We wish him mercy. May Allah be pleased with him, may his soil be abundant and his place be heaven.
