History

Serik Vocational School was established with the contributions of Rector Prof. Dr. Yaşar UÇAR, Secretary General H.Cahit OĞUZ and Founding Director Prof. Dr. Yüksel BİNGÖL and the decision of the General Assembly of Higher Education on 26.03.2001.

Our school started education and training in 2002 - 2003 academic year by enrolling 15 students in Decor Design, Stage Design, Graphic Design programme and 30 students in Tourism and Hotel Management Programme. Costume Design in 2003-2004 academic year, Graphics, Textile, Handicrafts in 2004-2005 academic year, Restoration Programme in 2005-2006 academic year, Public Relations and Publicity Programme in 2008-2009 academic year, Opticianry Programme in 2015, Health Institutions Management in 2016, and Child Development, Landscape and Ornamental Plants Cultivation and Grassland Plantation and Management programmes in 2019 were added to the existing programmes.

Serik Vocational School, which aims to train the qualified intermediate staff needed in the region, continues its education and training with the following departments and programmes as a result of the new arrangements made by Higher Education in the names of departments and programmes in the 2012-2013 Academic Year.
